Regulatory framework
Reference framework: Spanish and European legislation applicable to Cannabis sativa L., hemp products and products containing cannabinoids, according to their category and intended purpose.
Where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 on novel foods will be taken into account. CBD remains considered an unauthorised novel food for marketing as food in the EU.
Commercial product documentation must correspond to the actual batch, including composition, traceability, cannabinoid analysis and THC content where applicable.
Important: the CBD concentrations shown are provisional and must be replaced with certified values for each batch before publication.
